Why people look for a Noah alternative
Three reasons come up. Access: Noah is available by invitation or by request from a current user. Price: its site does not publish one, which makes it hard to plan around. And fit: Noah describes itself as an SMS-first autonomous agent for the enterprise, with modes for executive admin, chief of staff, and leadership coaching. An owner of a small firm may want the first two and not need the third.
It is a different product for a different buyer, and it means a lot of people who want an assistant in their messages this week need another option.
What to look for in an alternative
The things that made Noah appealing are the things to check for. Does it live in your messages, with its own identity, and not in another app? Does it act on your real accounts, including more than one inbox if you have them? Does it come to you first with a brief and with nudges? And does it ask before it sends or schedules, and keep a record? Then look at price and whether you can sign up without waiting.
Aura
Aura is an AI executive assistant with its own name and phone number. You text it over iMessage or SMS, and on Pro and Max plans you can call it. It runs inbox, calendar, follow-ups, and a daily morning brief across up to five connected Google Workspace accounts, asks before sensitive actions, and logs approvals. Signup is open and pricing is published: $20, $99, $199, and $299 a month. There is a branded version for whole teams, which Universal Title and Crux Advisory run today.
- Closest to Noah on: text-first, its own identity, proactive brief, acts on your accounts, phone calls.
- Different from Noah on: open signup, published pricing, several inboxes on one plan, no coaching mode.
- Best for: lawyers, title and closing offices, founders, and advisory principals.
Lindy
Lindy started as a builder for custom AI agents and now presents itself as an AI assistant you message, including over iMessage. Its pricing page lists up to five connected inboxes. It is more flexible than a finished assistant and asks for more setup. Published plans are $29.99, $99.99, and $199.99 a month per user.
- Best for: people who want to build and tune their own assistant.
Orchid and Poke
Orchid is an executive assistant that lives in iMessage: it texts you your day each morning, drafts replies, and books meetings. Poke lives in Messages, WhatsApp, and Telegram and handles planning, calendar and email from a chat thread. It has a free plan, a $19 plan, and a $199 plan, and its site says Poke is joining Cognition, so its direction may change. Orchid says drafts stay drafts until you approve. Neither publishes how many email accounts it connects, and both lean toward personal use.
- Best for: individuals who want a personal assistant in Messages.
Clara
Clara works entirely over email. You copy it on a scheduling thread and it handles the back and forth. It does not text or call, and it only does scheduling, but it has done that one job for years, across Google and Outlook calendars. It has a free plan, and its Standard plan is $80 a month.
- Best for: scheduling only, over email.
How to choose
If you want what Noah describes and you want it this week, with a price you can see, start with Aura. If you would rather build and tune your own agent, look at Lindy. If it is for your personal life more than your firm, Orchid or Poke. If scheduling is the only problem, Clara. And if you do get a Noah invite later, our side-by-side page covers how the two compare.
